Working with agencies, independent and corporate businesses, I learned the importance of good head shots as well as keeping them updated.
When blogs took off like wild fire, fb, myspace and on-line networking sites, I wanted to make updating head shots quick, affordable and of course with the same quality as my regular photo sessions that took at least an hour.
Keeping a data base of loyal and God-sent clients, I began to send "Head Shot Specials" to them- 4 head shots for $45. special".
To make a long story short, shooting this kind of special made me a better photographer (head shots can be tough) and now I want to offer this special as often as I can because:
1.) My clients love it, send referrals, and come back to me often
2.) Practice makes Perfect- this shoot only takes 7 minutes or less so my clients and I benefit from the low cost
3.) I always use natural lighting (studio sessions would raise the cost) and everyone looks good in natural light.
The process is pretty simple and being in the digital world, after the mini session, the client is able to view images from my camera's LCD.
Once selected, I send those images to their email address (either the same day or within 24 hours) along with a photo release form that grants them permission to print.
All images are for web or high quality printing.
